Q:  Do you accept large dogs?
A:  No. Only toy breed and small dogs of less than 10kg will be accepted. Medium sized dogs will be accepted on a case-by-case basis, please contact us for more information.


Q:  Must my dog be spayed or neutered?
A:  Yes, all dogs MUST be spayed or neutered. We can only accept dogs who are not spayed or neutered if they DO NOT display any marking behaviour and should NOT be in heat.


Q:  Do you accept dogs that are not protected against fleas or ticks?
A:  No. It is every owner's responsibility to ensure that your dogs are protected against fleas and ticks. If your dog is due for protection while staying with us, please provide us with the applicator stick and we will help to apply on your dog. Otherwise, Frontline Plus is available at $15 per stick. If ticks were found on your dog, we reserve the right to reject your dog immediately.


Q:  Will there be any aggressive dogs on board?
A:  All dogs will need to go through a pre-assessment trial before signing up for our day care or boarding services. This is to assess it's temperament and whether your dog is comfortable buddying with the existing packs in the same environment. Hence, prevents any dog fights which might happened during the stay and lead to injuries. We reserve the rights to reject any dogs who display aggressiveness during the trial. 


Q:  What is this pre-assessment trial about? Can I bypass this and just register for your services?
A:  No. To be eligible for our day care or boarding services, all dogs must go through and pass the pre-assessment trial which is mandatory for all first timers.

Our pre-assessment trial works like a half-day dog day care service. Through this trial we get to assess your dog and decide whether it is suitable to be on board with us, while your dog gets to familiarise itself with the surroundings and socialise with our dogs and us. And you as dog owner gets to view our premises, see how your dog is coping and decide whether you are comfortable to leave your beloved dog in our hands before engaging our services. The fee of S$30 will be deducted off final bill if you decide to take up our services and confirm your bookings with us three months from date of the pre-assessment trial.

Pre-assessment trial is conducted on weekends and last for a duration of four hours, starting from 12pm onwards and must ends at 6pm. There are three time slots to choose from: (A)12pm-4pm,  (B)1pm-5pm,  (C)2pm-6pm. Please contact us for a slot. 


Q:  Do you accept dogs on medication?
A:  Please notify us if your dog requires medical treatment while staying with us. We can help feed the medicine or apply topical cream to your dog. But we do not accept dogs that are diagnose with ringworm infection as it is a highly contagious disease and can spread to other pets and human. Dogs that are on serious medical conditions will not be accepted as well.


Q:  I think my dog has food allergies...
A: Please notify us if your dog is allergic to certain food or treats and we will avoid feeding them to your dog.


Q:  How many intakes are there for dog boarding services?
A:  In order to ensure all dogs receive adequate attention, love and care, we limit the number of dog intakes to three.


Q:  Will I get any updates of my dog?
A:  Photo updates of your dog will be provided once a day via whatsapp. Updates will be sent to you at our convenience and own timing. All updates will be sent latest before 11pm.


Q: What happens if my dog requires veterinary treatment during its stay at Dachies Day Care?
A:  Please provide us with your vet details in case your dog needs to seek veterinary treatment while staying with us. Otherwise, we will be sending your dog to our regular vet.


Q:  Is there any showers provided for my dog?
A:  A complimentary basic shower(shampoo and blow-dry only) will be provided to dogs that board with us for a minimum of five days. Depending on when your dog last bathe, we will shower your dog at least one week apart hence your dog might be showered on the first few days, during mid or towards the end of boarding period. No check-out baths will be provided even if your dog boards for more than a week. If your dog will be here for two weeks or more, we recommend that you opt for an additional wet bath grooming at S$25.


Q:  Is there transportation provided to pick-up my dog?
A:  Currently, we do not provide any transportation to pick-up or drop-off your dog. If you really need such service, we can either help to engage a pet taxi at additional charge or we can take a cab down and claim the cab fare from you.


Q:  Any deposits required and what is the mode of payment? 
A:  For boarding of dogs, we require a deposit of S$100 to be made. Upon receiving the deposit, we will block out the dates for you. In an event of default, the entire deposit will be forfeited. When checking-in, cash payment of 50% to be paid upfront and remaining 50% cash payment to be paid when checking-out.

For boarding of small animals, full payment to be made upfront during check-in.
