LYON AND SHILA, THE JAPANESE SPITZ BOARDING

On Sunday, we had two japanese spitz over for pre-assessment trial. Being the first time here, they are not nervous at all and quickly settled down and made themselves at home. Shila is a very sweet girl who likes to follow me around and will sit infront of me, looking into my eyes with her adorable face. Lyon on the other hand is more matured and independent but will occasionally come up to me for cuddles.

With new friends in the house, the short-legged tried their very best to reach the long-legged who is twice as tall as them...
Miso trying to reach Lyon for a face to face interaction

Shila: "No...you won't get any chance! I prefer guys who are taller than me! hiss..."

Miso finally gets to sniff Lyon at ease

CHUBBY AND YUKI, THE MALTESE BOARDING

Today, we had two maltese with us for a half day pre-assessment trial. Initially, I am still worried they might not get used to the environment especially when their owners are not around. But surprisingly, Yuki who was known to be timid, was the first one who went around exploring the place on her own. After clearing the area, Yuki will inform Chubby who then follows behind her to reckee the place.

Chubby must be thinking that my chinchillas are some kind of freaky aliens. He spend half of his time 'supervising' them and occasionally gives 'verbal warning' to my chins.

Chubby finds a good spot under the fan and starts his supervision on the "aliens''

Chubby: "I know you are not one of us. You alien! Show me your ID! woof woof!"

Chubby: "This is a very good view. Let me tell you why."
Chubby: "Because, I get to supervise both of them at the same time! woof!"

Yuki likes to follow me around and she even kissed me. So sweet of her!

Yuki is so tired that she dozed off in just a split second!
Yuki: "Yawnzzz.....okie I better lie down"

JUNIOR, THE MINI DACHSHUND BOARDING

Yesterday, we are privileged to have Junior on board with us. Given his first time over here, he is quite shy and no matter how my dogs went up to initiate a play, he ignored them.
Junior, lying near the door and trying to nap away

Towards the end of the day, my efforts are finally paid off when Junior, for the first time, responded to me calling him by wagging his tail! Phew.....I'm glad that my cuddles and massages actually works and did not put my efforts down the drain.
Time for treats and Junior is super composed
Junior still in his pose, except Miso who simply can't resist the temptation

THE BUDDIES AT DACHIES DAY CARE

Introducing the two buddies at Dachies Day Care whom your beloved dog will be eating, playing and sleeping with. They are both full of energy when it comes to playtime and walking. Never will they once say "no" to food and treats. Apart from the usual barking and whining, they are both very vocal as well when yawning and during playtime. With the companionship of these two buddies, your beloved dog will definitely enjoy itself while boarding with us.

HOME COOKED FOOD FOR YOUR DOG

Recently I've got a few enquiries on home cooked food menu and I decided to whipped up the meal for your reference!

Our home cooked food meal consists of organic brown rice (I'm not using red brown rice), spinach, carrots, pumpkins, celery, and a choice of meat where you can choose lamb, beef, pork or salmon.

For this demonstration, I've selected lamb as my choice of meat. And together with rest of the ingredients, they are cooked in a pot using natural fat/oil from the meat hence you can be rest assured that no cooking oil is used when preparing any of the home cooked food. A meal like this cost S$3 with generous portion of meat and vegetables.

This dish was served to my boy who was a fussy and picky eater when it comes to kibbles. When I first introduced him to this meal, he practically gobbled the food and licked the bowl clean!
